World Toilet Day 2018 – November 19

Did you know there was world toilet organization that has been promoting world toilet day for the year until 2013 when the United Nations realized the importance of the day and proclaimed the 19th of November as the World Toilet Day? Proper sanitation is one of the most important needs of the human world. According to a research more people have mobile phones than toilets in the world. That is a very sad thing. About 200 000 children around the globe die due to poor sanitation. The day aims to educate the people about the uses of toilets and proper sanitation. In third world countries and rural areas of developed countries, people are not provided with adequate toilets which force them to defecate in the open which lead to many harmful diseases. Around 2.5 billion people in the world do not have access to proper sanitation and we wonder how there are so many diseases in the world.
