The world remembers all the Jews and other inferior races that were brutally murdered by Hitler on this day and pay their respect to these victims. The day also highlights the duties that the state has towards its people. The state should prevent any kind of genocide and protect the public from this inhumane act towards humanity. This day was first observed in 2015. The day signifies the Nations Genocides Convention that the United Nations General Assembly signed on 9th of December in 1948. The day is officially known as the International Day of Commemoration and Dignity of the Victims of the Crime of Genocide and of the Prevention of this Crime and is observed around the globe.
