National Parents Day 2018 – Fourth Sunday In July

National parents day is celebrated every year on the fourth Sunday of July in order to show appreciation, love and gratitude that we have for our parents. It is celebrated in honor of all the parents who show extreme commitment and love towards their children throughout the year. Parents are an important part of a person’s life. They are helpful, supportive and always there for their children in the hour of need. The day was proclaimed by President Bill Clinton in 1994 who signed a Congressional Resolution into law for recognizing a day for parents. Republican Senator Trent Lott introduced the bill.
