Just like normal healthy foods, junk food has also become a part of our food family. So as we celebrate other food holidays in July we have also created a National Junk Food day to celebrate on the 21st of July every year. So if you are a junky then this is your special day. Even though junk foods are unhealthy due to the high content of fats, sugar and salt ratio present in them, they are enjoyed by both young and the adult from time to time. We like to snack upon these food items every once in a while. The creator of the day is still unknown but it is for sure someone who loves junk food to its fullest.
How to observe it?
This is an open house day. Go to any nearest store and buy all the different kinds of junk food that you like consuming and eat it throughout the day. Have your friends and family over and try new competitions like who eats the most chocolate bars or the chips. Don’t forget the poor and the less fortunate on this day. Visit your nearest orphanage and donate to them. Take some junk food on your way over and give to the children in the orphanage.
