There is a day to honor and appreciate everything. Sea food is one of the most liked foods in America. Caviar is one of the most liked seafood in the world. Every year the people of America get-together to celebrate the National Caviar Day on the 18th of July. Caviar is a delicacy that consists of salt-cured roe of the Acipenseridae family. Many people might think of roe as a fish but in actual roe is a mass of eggs in the ovaries of the female sturgeon which lives in the Caspian or Black sea. These eggs are usually of black red, golden or grey color. In the 19th century, caviar was served in bars due to a boom in the American Rivers. At that time America and Canada become the biggest suppliers of Caviar in the world. Due to high exports, there was a danger of caviar being extinct which is why a ban was put due to which the seafood has become a luxury in today’s time.
